Yahoo Answers has shut down

Yahoo Answers has shut down as of May 4, 2021. Yahoo Answers was once a key part of Yahoo's products and services, but it has declined in popularity over the years as the needs of our members have changed. We decided to shift our resources away from Yahoo Answers to focus on products that better serve our members and deliver on Yahoo's promise of providing premium trusted content. 

As of May 4, 2021 you can no longer access the site, but you can still request a download of your Yahoo Answers data until June 30, 2021. To assist you with this transition we've compiled a list of questions that may come up during this process.

Will this impact my Yahoo Account or other Yahoo services?

No, these changes are specific to Yahoo Answers. They won't impact your Yahoo Account or any other Yahoo services.

Where should I go when I have questions in the future?

Yahoo Search can be used to find answers and info from the web. Our Yahoo COVID page provides info and resources about the Coronavirus pandemic.

Can I download my Yahoo Answers content?

Yes. You can request a download of your Yahoo Answers data before June 30, 2021.

What content is available to me?

Your Yahoo Answers data download will return all user-generated content, including your questions, answers and images. You won't be able to download other users' content, questions, or answers.

Do I have to download my content?

No, the content download is optional. However, if you choose to download your content, you have to do so before June 30, 2021.

When will I get my Yahoo Answers content?

Our team works as fast as possible to make data available, but it can take up to 30 days to receive your content download.

I downloaded my Yahoo Answers content, how do I view it?

Your content will be formatted in JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) and might be hard to look through at a glance. We have resources on viewing and managing your account data that can help you understand your data download.

진짜 디지털 자료는 의미가 없구나.

 

 

가십이랑 개소리로 가득차서 얼마나 재밌었는데, 방금 들어가보려고 하니까 세상에 2021년 5월 4일부터 문을 닫는다고?

 

야 너네 진짜 뭐해먹고 살려고 그럼?

 

그만큼 트래픽이 안나왔다고 정말?

 

 

적어도 20년 정도의 자료는 쌓여있을 텐데. 어딜가도 저런 말도 안되는 엉망진창 가십들을 구할 수 없는 데.

 

한국처럼 가십 적어놨다고 연예인들한테 명예훼손으로 글 내려달라 할 것도 아니고, 그걸로 미국이니 재판걸려서 돈 줘야 할 것도 아닐텐데.

큐오라 학술적인 질문 밖에 없다고 그 이외에 사이트는 뭐 돈을 내라 가입을 해라 난리 난리라고 

 

레딧 재미 없다고 포찬 이상한 사이트에 이제 유입도 없다고

 

이러니까 다들 트위터로 뛰어드는 거 아녀

 

근데 트위터는 검색이 제대로 되나 기록으로 남기라도 하나 그런 거도 아니고

 

다 회원제로 바뀌고 친구만 볼 수 있는 블로그로 바뀌고 구글이 볼 수 없는 사이트로 바뀌고

 

그러면 오덕 새키들 빼고 일반인들은 아예 접근 할 생각이 없어진다니까ㅠ

 

정보의 질과 양이 달라지고, 그 폐쇄된 공간 속에 소수 오덕들끼리 고인물되서 썩어버림.

 

 

진짜 디스커션 보드 없앤 거 보다 더 심한 손실이야.
